Entry is free if you're shorter than 1.5m or taller than 2,0m. The entry fee if you're in between isn't steep eitherway. This museum is filled with this type of humor. Absolutely refreshing. You can spend hours finding little treasures, easter eggs etc. If you're done visiting the museum they have an outdoor play area with a pirate ship a fort and more. To cap it off, buy a ticket and you can you use it for a whole week. An absolute steal!

This was more fun than I expected. I expected a messy junk yeard, which in a way it is, but it is very, very charming. The stories of the found objects will suck you in, they are very nicely organised - and you can spend hours following them. Following up with a nice cold drink. Definitely recommended!

A really interesting and unique, one of a kind museum! It's got so many beautiful stories in it and you're allowed to touch, smell and feel everything that's in your reach. The ambiance is very friendly and I can really recommend a visit!

It's much, much more than a junk heap, it's passion, perseverance, creativity and heaps of fun for kids! Consider beachcombing as a sport!

Well, this was the most interesting museum! Ideal for divers, especially wreck divers and anyone with an interest in war relics or shipwrecks or flotsam and jetsam in general. And anyone who likes brass and corroded metals. The kids play area is phenomenal, obviously a lot of imagination and enthusiasm went into it. Tea and toasties were also good

Curious collection of objects used at sea or washed ashore, from diving bells to century-old shoes and babies' dummies (pacifiers) in a themed pub and adjoining beer garden, complete with pirate ship adventure playground and torpedo totem pole. Make sure to visit the attic with its coin floor, aptly named "Penny Lane" and the toilets which may leave you seasick... (Don't worry, they are clean!)

If you are on Terschelling with your kids I would recommend you go here. At the back there is a beautiful hidden playground!

This is one of the attractions on the island one has to visit. It is fun for the whole family. This collection of items found in the sea, just barely fits in this building. The owner clearly has as much fun collecting it, as you will have looking at it! It is displayed with sometimes humorous descriptions and personal notes. This may be a little setback for non dutch speakers, although the items will speak for themselves. Don't expect a huge museum either. The uninterested can walk it in 5 minutes. I spend easily an hour looking at all the items. Then I had some nice coffee and local cranberry cake I can recommend. Since it has small stairs, the elderly or with a disability might have a challenge. The kids have a wild, fantastic playground in the back.

One of the premier tourist attractions on the island. It's amazing what kind of stuff they've found over the years. And when you're done gazing at the wonderful items in the museum, you can visit the bar downstairs and have a nice drink or sandwich.
