Went to downtown Bryan for First Friday and wasn't impressed with the food truck scene... stopped in and decided to give them a try. Got an amber beer🍺 and the steak🥩 & cheesy grits. Ordered my steak medium, but it was closer to rare. The cheesy grits were 💣 and the steak was competent. My wife got the bacon jam burger, which was outstanding. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING is really good at 3rd on Main, but I ordered something today that I normally wouldn't have but "Hey, it's 3rd on Main... they always put a unique spin on things"! And it was, without a doubt, better than I expected! In fact, I'm hooked on the Big Ole TX Chilidog!!! Yep, a chilidog! OH.M.G. The bacon jam burger was so freaking amazing!!! I'd rank it as likely the best, juiciest, most flavorful burger I've ever had. The diced, fried potatoes were so good that my husband, my son and even my DOG were trying to steal my leftovers. I'm a raving fan now!
