I take the "PLATEAU aux fruits de mer grillée" with a friend, just amazing! Of course with a good bottle of luxembourguish wine and last but not least a good brown Aguardiente to push the coffee! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €80–90 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I am sharing my experience only. At the bar there is a friendly service but as soon as you go to the restaurant in the garden - the waiters are quite unfriendly unfortunately. Surprisingly there was no one speaking English back then. And we waited for making an order till our waiter could speak and have fun with (I guess) some regular customers. Would be ok if we didn’t wait too long. I also had the feeling they never smile, all the time they were with frowning faces. This made this place not attractive for us. The food was ok but not wow. I would maybe go again there if I am starving but not on purpose. The Brasserie part however I would visit again with pleasure. Was very nice and good there.

The food is good, but the service is awful! The personal is cocky, thinking that if you are in a Portuguese restaurant, you should speak Portuguese. This was the last time that my family is visiting the place. Price per person €30–40

Very nice food and good portion size. Unfortunately the experience was bot as pleasant as staff was not too nice. We did not feel welcomed and like we were bothering. A pity as food and setting cluld make you feel very good otherwise. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

Choice of interior or 4 different exteriors as far as I could work out. Street, courtyard, terrace or garden. Grim-faced but efficient staff. Food was good with generous portions. If you like salt you won't be disappointed. Just don't find yourself hidden somewhere in this sprawling complex without hi-vis vests, flares or a whistle for service.

Very good and traditional Portuguese restaurant with a nice outdoor area where you can seat and have a coffee and beer before joining inside to the restaurant premises. Reservations are highly recommended and for dinner, the kitchen it's open from 18.30. Fresh seafood and the traditional bacalhau dishes.

Demosthenis Axiotis

Located in the town center of Bertrange is a little cafe with character. In the afternoons it's usually a hangout for older crowds and retired people but that doesn't take away from its beauty. It's the kind of place you drink coffee or a beer at if you want to know who's who in the village. The service was very good and the waiters and waitresses work to their maximum ability something very rare in Luxembourg. The prices were very very decent, I paid 2.50eu for my cappuccino, something unheard of for this area. If you sit outside on the patio it's definitely a place you can bring your kids to as well and there's plenty of public parking across the street. Have been and will be there again for sure!

Excellent! Good quality, good price. Attractive week lunches. Calamars are delicious.
