Appalachia is not just a restaurant, it’s an experience! The interior is clean, updated and well kept, the service is pleasant, and the food is some of the absolute best in the area (even counting Asheville). Great wine selection as well. I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. It's top notch big city food in a quaint, beautiful location.The food, service, and atmosphere are all immaculate. I've been here many times over the last 6 months and have loved every cocktail & entree I've tried. The staff is eager to help and incredibly knowledgable. If you're in the Lake Lure area this restaurant is a must! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

What a wonderful meal to close out 2023. Every dish was fantastic - from the bread service, to the salads to an incredibly tasty pappardelle.
