I really wanted to like Peppers Too, but it just wasn't doing it for me. We stopped on passing through on the way to Flint and were excited to try a new Thai place. The lady taking orders at the front counter is very nice and friendly. At $19 for a dinner portion of fried rice, I was expecting the world's greatest fried rice, but sadly it was anything but. The pineapple fried rice which is usually yellow curry flavored at other restaurants was DROWNED in soy sauce and was brown. Holy salt, my mouth hurt just eating it and my stomach felt bad the entire night. I would love to see a independent restaurant like this succeed but I think they need to work on their recipes/pricing. Food was decent, but quality has slipped over time. Also, way overpriced I didn’t realize they charged me a credit card fee until I left. Credit card fees are a cost of doing business I have frequented both locations for years, but their price gouging is out of control. Ordered pad thai chicken and broccoli chicken with white rice. Absolutely delicious. Excellent tasting, quality and huge portions. Highly recommend going there to enjoy your meal.
