After you have seen Kiev Fortress, come to this restaurant. Ignore other places, discover the Chinese menu at BAO. Perfectly cooked Peking duck, seafood soup and tuna can make a good impression on you. Many guests come here to try tasty crepes, praline and chocolate mousse. After a long working day, you can taste delicious wine, Spritz or beer. Clients don't highly appreciate Chinese tea at this place. The homely atmosphere of this spot allows visitors to relax after a hard working day. Cheerful staff members work hard, stay positive and make this place wonderful. The terrific service is a big advantage of this restaurant. Based on the reviewers' opinions, prices are adequate. A number of reviewers say that the fancy decor inside is enjoyable. This is one of my most favorite places in Kyiv. I eat here many times a week. Excellent service, great menu. Healthy options and many amazing cocktails you will enjoy. Also good wines for pairing with food. Hookah/Kalian high end. I love this place Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A very interesting restaurant. Beautiful interior. A wide range of author's cocktails and original dishes. Service at a high level. Prices are above average in Kyiv. Suitable for those who want to get new vivid impressions from gastronomic visits! I recommend to visit with a girl!

I had dim sum and hot and sour soup. Both were very good. Place is busier in the evening, that's why I chose to go there for lunch. I had the entire place to myself.

Absolutely amazing restaurant with great and experienced service. The menu has your staple Chinese dishes, so if you are a regular of Chinese restaurants, you will not need much time to make up your mind. The food balances the traditional recipes with fresh new ingredients delicately crafted on the plate. Our favorite appetizer were the crispy duck spring rolls. The best entree was the kung pao shrimp, and for dessert, the mousse with coconut milk, mango purée and Thai basil. The drink menu is where you will spend most of your time deciding, as all drinks are unique to this restaurant. Whichever you pick, you will be impressed. Our favorite was the Bao Spritz which is made with a house-made bitter liquor and comes a grapefruit sorbet in a passion fruit shell. Not a ding to this rating, but a few recommendations. Rice: they do not bring steamed rice unless you ask for it; something so central to Asian cuisine should come with all entrées. Dumplings: good, but not great; they have not yet cracked the code on how to make them special. We were expecting the shrimp dumplings to have the soup inside. Singaporean rice: missed a key ingredient-chili peppers

Blue dumplings are horrible, they are just for photos. The other dishes were good including the duck. Recommended for design, service and ambience. Beautiful restaurant.

Ridiculously delicious! Tasty food (that fish was worth every penny!), great service and very helpful staff, pleasant decor, and very nice overall atmosphere. They also allowed some customisation for our dish, which is personally a 6th star on top ☺️ Most definitely will come back again!

This was my first time here. The service was good despite how busy it was. The food was very tasty and my Mongolian beef was the most tender meat ever. They put real gold on top of my dessert. I came back another time for soup snd deep fried duck spring rolls. They are now my favorite spring rolls.

Fusion Chinese cuisine, very tasty. Happy about vegetarian block in menu and polite personnel. Always fully booked at dinners but almost empty during lunch, so it’s the best time to go. Beautiful interior design, enjoying every visit ❤️ Service Dine in Meal type Brunch
