As I stood up from my meal, I had to wonder if I was still in Cleveland, or about to return from a trip from Brazil. Carla and Gustavo have culminated an exquisite dining experience. The starters of Marisco, Pao De Queijo, and Torresmo com Mandioca engaged our table as we studied over the menu of what we would have for a main course. I personally dined on the Picanha Acebolada and I recommend more than your next breathe. Others in my party dined in the Churrasco de Picanha, Seasonal lamb chops, and Ribeye Steak. Unfortunately, I left my phone in the car for this dining experience, but with the flavors l, I might not have gotten a good photo anyway, because well, I love fresh hot food and usually can’t wait to dig in. This place could not be any better all the way around! The food is great and has very generous portions, the ambiance is awesome, but what stands out to me is the service: everyone we encountered was so genuinely kind and welcoming. Had a wonderful experience at Batuqui! Despite the restaurant being packed (reservation recommended), the atmosphere was cozy. All the food and drinks ordered were very tasty and full of flavor. The steak was cooked to perfection. Our hostess and waitress were very friendly and attentive. Food and drinks did not take long to come out. My husband and I are total foodies, and this lovely restaurant exceeded our expectations! 10/10 recommended, do yourself a favor and try their minas cheese with honey- it’s amazing. The service was spectacular, the food was delicious, the people were lovely and very kind. The desserts are to die for! The staff members are always making sure that you have all you need at hand, making sure you have water, giving you recommendations, and just overall making sure you have a wonderful experience. At the end of our night, we had a conversation with Karla (who we later found out is one of the owners), she was the kindest, most humble and funniest person in the room! Can’t recommend this restaurant enough, we’ll be back soon!!! 🤍 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
