Friendly staff but a really small place. My biggest complaint is because it’s so tiny, when we were sitting to eat, the bathroom door was wide open. Since no one closed it for a solid 15-20 mins, it smelled like a port-a-Jon (not how you spell but you get the idea). That smell kinda ruined my appetite, TBH. That’s why they get a 0 for atmosphere.

I been living in Vail for 9 years, back in 2015 was the first time I ever tried Big Bear bistro and it was insane good.
The food for the last 2 years has been terrible and I only keep on coming back because of their location, I absolutely love sitting outside by the creek and its so close to the gondola.
The croissant for the breakfast sandwich its reheated, the ham taste terrible, it is not well put together, but last time I got the Alex breakfast and it was not edible, the eggs were supposed to be scrambled and they were dry like reheated, the bacon was ok, the potatoes were soft and bland and the toast wasn’t even toasted, there was a hair on the food as well.
I didn’t complain at the cashier because I can tell they are all J1s working seasonally and I feel that is just a dead end.
I also seen the lady which I awesome its the owner, yell at her employees multiple times so I am kind of scared of telling her how terrible this food is.
Its such a shame because the location it’s outstanding
