I was really excited about visiting this after the reviews. I have to say I was disappointed. My husband ordered the Grizz, which is supposed to have 3 eggs. Instead, it appeared that he had 1.5 eggs. Especially when you looked at my daughter's 3 egg omelet. I ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast. The steak was well cooked. My over medium eggs were perfect. The homestyle potatoes had a weird after taste, and the onions and peppers were too crunchy, so I didn't eat much. Now to the sweet cream pancakes. They were not as tender and fluffy as I expected them to be. They were on the verge of being tough. I would visit again for the excellent service we received and to try other menu items, but I enjoy breakfast from other chains better than this one. The food was ok, not bad and not great. The Alfredo Pasta was not great, but the Meatloaf was very good. I like Black Bear Diners menus and food overall. The server was super friendly and welcoming.
