Would highly recommend this bbq joint if you’re looking for some good old southern style bbq! They have a great menu that is shareable as their portion sizes are so generous. Their coleslaw, beans, and Mac and cheese are very well done. I especially love their extensive sauce choices which are supposedly vinegar based. I have been here a dozen times and also there Newton location. Food is always good. Brisket is juicy and perfect amount of smoke. Chili, wimgs and ribs are all good too. Seating options could be better but not really complaining either. Dont hesitate to go here if you crave good BBQ Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Excellent bbq and lots of food given. The ribs were falling off the bone. I had ordered 2 ribs but ended up getting 4 of the smaller ends which was a lot of food. Also ordered the chicken and brisket. They gave a whole container of their BBQ sweet sauce. Will definitely be back. BBQ meats are gluten free. Great ribs and meats. Jerk chicken sandwich is a good special when available. Their vegetable side dishes are good: collards, coleslaw, mashed potatoes, and interesting daily specials. Anything you get here is going to be good. They have outside tables if you might want to eat there. A rotating choice of soups, with option to add 2 ribs. Great place with reasonably priced barbecue options! As someone who has lived in Texas, i must say they are authentic and their beef brisket tasted amazing, tender and flavorful! They have three types of sauces to choose from: sweet BBQ, golden BBQ (basically with mustard) and hot BBQ. All are great and you should mix them for better flavors. Their pork ribs St. Louis ribs were great too. Dirty rice was also yummy. Will definitely be back for more! The brisket sandwich was full of dry lean brisket. Couldn't finish it. Gets two stars because the mashed potatoes was great.

I am from Kansas City, and my standards are high when it comes to bbq...BUT this place is TERRIBLE!!! Please remove "Kansas City style" from your menu, and I'd imagine that Texas would like a say regarding your "Texas style" freezer burnt disgusting sausage. We've ordered from here many times! They do a lot of take out. There isn't much seating in the restaurant but it'd do in a pinch. The sandwiches can come out of the box a bit soggy. I was pleased when we chose to get the group meal (pictured) because the self-assembly aspect fixed that problem. I've probably had all the sides and they're all great. My boyfriend and I just got dinner here and it was so good! The pulled pork sandwich comes with basically a full pound of pork, a bun, and two sides. The buns were soggy but the pork was so good and there was so much of it we didn’t care. They have hot and sweet bbqs to choose from that look homemade and taste delicious.
