When in New Orleans you have to try Cafe Du Monde. We had to wait a while to place our order but it did come quickly once we did. They take cash only.

Really affordable - it's a must to order the beignets and cafe au lait.
Sit at a table and the wait staff will come to get your order and deliver it to you. Bring cash. If possible, visit on a weekday morning (rather than weekend) for way less wait.
The beignets are really more of a snack than a breakfast, don't let this be your only morning meal for a full day ahead.

Back in 2018, my family and I had a mini reunion in New Orleans to attend my brother-in-laws graduation.
Located at the French Quarters. We had a wonderful experience eating beignets and coffee!! This is the best beignets I’ve ever had it was so yummy and delicious! 😋
We would only return to LA for this!! 😂

It's always a joy to visit here, especially in the off-season when we can sit and people watch longer. The beignets were hot, fresh, and scrumptious. Cafe au lait was perfect and is also available in decaf. (Perfect for those who love or want to try New Orleans coffee but can't have caffeine). We will definitely return again and again and again.

They had a nice open air seating area with table service. The food and drinks arrived quickly and everything was delicious. Our server was great, and there was live music playing. It is cash only.

Very popular place in New Orleans. When we went in morning hours when full menu is served it was too crowded and waiting had huge queue. But during evening hours we found it to be all empty serving coffee and beignets. We got their popular coffee and it was good. Felt like having coffee in one of the old legendary cafe with the ambience, uniform and way coffee was served. All they accept is cash so make sure to carry cash.
