My husband and I had a fabulous lunch at Cafe Istanbul on South Beverly Drive in Beverly Hills. We appreciated their al fresco options and we had a lovely table on the sidewalk with a fresh rose. The waitress was very professional and friendly and when I asked, she suggested I try the Gözleme, a wonderful Turkish pastry dish made of hand-rolled leaves of yufka dough that is lightly brushed with butter and filled with cheese and parsley. We enjoyed a Greek Salad with mixed greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, bell peppers, kalamata olives and feta cheese, topped with lemon herb dressing. We also had some amazingly flavorful freshly fried seasoned chicken wings served with garlic sauce and french fries. We finished it up with a classic Turkish Coffee, accompanied some famous Turkish Delight! It was fun to look out on the busy Beverly Drive and see many pedestrians, too, while we dined. This restaurant is Highly Recommended for a great unique dining experience! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
