Food is good, special and unique Mexican food, especially the grilled quail and beef tartare. Server is very friendly, nice and knows their food. The surprise is there is a kitchen appreciation in the receipt. I guess it is 3% of subtotal. I just feel a little coerced to pay extra money. If the chef and cook deserve higher wages, i think it is more reasonable for restaurant owner’s responsibility to share the profits. We stopped by for lunch while car shopping and were seated promptly. David was our server, and he was attentive, professional, and customer friendly. We started with a couple of tequilla drinks with chips and guacamole. My wife ordered the chicken tacos, and I had the steak and potatoes. Both meals were good and the drinks fantastic. The ambiance is positive and bright in downtown Tustin. Recommended. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Feeling more like an imposition than valued guests, the cold reception from the front-of-house team sours the dining experience. This stark contrast between the kitchen's culinary excellence and the indifferent service leaves us hesitant to return, despite the tempting menu.
