This was a really cool place. The decor and feel was awesome. The service was great. The food was good, but not the good you expect for the price. It's on the pricier side. Was I happy with my meal. Ordered the crab claws as an appetizer and was seriously taken back. Hardly any meat on them and super small! Glad we didn’t add another 1/2 pound for $10.00 more. Seriously disappointed on the lack of crab meat for $43.00/half pound. Upside, the sauce it was in was tasty and the ribeye cooked spot on. Loaded baked potato and salmon was excellent. Being served the crab claws put a serious damper on the experience. This was my first visit to “The Pub” and I was not disappointed! We arrived at 4:40 and the place was getting packed after just ten minutes of opening the door. We ordered the chicken supreme with white cream gravy and almonds with cheese grits and a side salad with the house Greek dressing. The dressing was incredible!!!! My only complaint is that they only serve spring mix and do not have romaine or iceberg lettuce. I’m not a fan of spring mix. I had the 12oz ribeye with fried okra and onion rings. The steak was cooked a perfect medium rare and it was amazing! The onion rings were homemade and very good. The batter was a little thick for my taste but I still ate a few. The okra was fresh and delicious! I can’t believe I waited this long to check this place out and I will definitely be back! First time here. What a pleasant surprise. Jesse, our server, did a great job. She was positive and had a great, continual smile. Came back to our table multiple times to make sure we were pleased with our meals or needed anything. Definitely deserved the extra gratuity. The food was outstanding and perfectly done. The grilled 13 oz. pork chop tasted like a steak. It was the tastiest and most tender pork chop I've ever eaten which I told the GM who visited our table. Seafood gumbo was also very delicious. It was a fantastic experience and a very delicious meal. The entire staff, from the receptionist, to the wait staff, and even the kitchen staff were friendly and made me feel appreciated. There was one small mix up in the appetizers I ordered, but my waiter made the corrections without hesitation and I'm glad he did.
