Little to no flavor. The pickle had to most flavor. I ended up getting the basic chicken salad because they didn’t have the pimento or pesto for the turkey sandwich. As a whole the experience wasn’t bad but fell very flat.

I was surprised that I liked this place this much! I know I know, don’t judge a book by its cover but a restaurant designed just around chicken salad?!? How special could it be? Wellllllll… every bite is absolutely delicious. One combo will leave you full filled but not heavy like fried foods. You can get the chicken salad in many flavors on croissants, gourmet sliced bread, or in a scoop by its self. The sides range from fruit salads, green salads, and soup. If you a little skeptical like I was, just try it. You won’t be sorry!

Chicken Salad Sandwich
Why is this my first time eating here??? Their recipes are very tasty and refreshing. The savory chicken salads are so good. I'm on a mission to try all of them and the sides in different "The Chick" combinations. The soups are alright. You even get a little sugar cookie that's the perfect size and amount of sweetness. This place is a healthier and better alternative for someone who's hungry but doesn't want a heavy fast food meal. I highly recommend getting your scoop on a crossaint.

My wife loves their chicken salad (Fancy Nancy) and the Grape Salad. I like the turkey sandwich and love the potato soup. It's all good for takeout because there is nothing to get cold, except the soup, which holds the heat for a good while. Nice clean place with friendly staff.

We ordered the Classic Carol on a toasted wheat bread, Dixie Chick on a croissant, and a Turkey Pesto on toasted wheat bread with two sides, broccoli salad and the soup of the day, potato soup. We really loved the Dixie Chick. So delicious and it was perfect with the croissant. The Classic Carol was okay. It was too plain for us. If you like the basic chicken salad then this is for you. The Dixie Chick has onions and we LOVE onions. It was super flavorful. The onions enchanced the chicken salad flavor!While the Turkey Pesto was just a basic Turkey sandwich. We think that if they used smoked turkey it would be a better sandwich, in our opinion. Again, you may like this turkey pesto sandwich as it. We will back to try the other chicken salads and to enjoy the Dixie Chick Salad, for sure!

Excellent customer service, I love how they repeat everything back to make sure they got it right, they are very patient. Which was awesome because this was my 1st time every eating her. I like that you can ask for no chicken on the fruit salad for vegetarians. The cookies are super soft. Combos don't include a drink. The kids meals do include a drink. I do recommend they put the fruit salad in a container so that your sandwich doesn't get wet by the water from the fruit.

What a fabulous find! Some of the best chicken salad and pimento cheese EVER! Store was clean, staff was attentive, friendly and fast. Even made suggestions and offered samples so i got better than what i had picked out on my own. Reasonably priced for what you get and you get what you pay for! Will definitely be back!!

Absolutely delicious, I loved the “Sassy Scotty” on a croissant, all the sides were also very good! Definitely will be back to try more! Only bad thing is the combo doesn’t come with a drink and the drinks are almost a extra $3 but, it comes with a small delicious cookie that was perfect after my meal. A little on the pricy side but I think it’s worth it for the quality!
We visited the NLR location on 6/21/22 in the late afternoon. The location must be new, because it looked perfect, was spotless, and smelled freshly built. This is an “order at the counter and seat yourself type restaurant” and they deliver your order to the table; you fill your own drink. So, this is where it would be better if there were separate “stars” for food, service, and the establishment. The building, decor & cleanliness scored 5 stars. The food scored 3 stars (excellent sandwich, potato soup & mac-n-cheese) but my husband said his salad scoops seem like they were from a container vs fresh. They give you a mini cookie with your meal…l love that. Service received -0- stars. The ladies in the kitchen area seemed to be working hard, but the girl at the register was either sleepy, wanted to be elsewhere or was on something-she was un interested, unhelpful & did not smile-she was NOT someone that should have been the first point of contact. After receiving only a portion of one of the orders and a fork to eat my soup, I went up to request the rest of our order, but had to wait as someone else was dealing with an incorrect order also. When it was my turn, I requested the rest of my order from the other cashier, who asked if I wanted to reorder it. I said no, as I had already paid for it. After showing her my receipt she made another ticket, but did not communicate with me as to why, so I had to ask her If I was being charged again-she said no. She had no smile, made as little eye contact as possible, no thank you for coming, no pleasantries, so-no “stars”. So unwelcoming to this lady…I won’t be back.
