I mean it's fast food..... It's better than most other Churches chickens and definitely better than any in the states.

I can only tell you 2nd hand, that my parents were very happy with their "pechufiletes" and that the difference is great from the Chuch's Chicken in Yauco Plaza, which had been disappointing them lately. The size of the filets is substantial and they are very moist. My dad ate all of his mashed potatoes as well. I think they will be driving just a teensy bit farther from now on, just so they can have a better shot at a decent meal!
Food is good, especially the Pechuga Mejicana, but kitchen and restaurant cleanliness needs a major upgrade, this issue isn't only with this restaurant, it's both that are located in Yauco and the ones in Ponce and Mayaguez.
Everything needs to be changed and updated. You walk in and the chairs and tables are old, the restaurant needs a good painting, all kitchen staff needs to be retrained in food safety and customer service. While some cashiers are nice, I have come by a few, who lack experience in dealing with customers, you can tell they are not happy working for Church's chicken, and give attitude to customers who have shown no disrespect towards them, especially if the customer is an older client. This, needs to change. Employees getting rowdy in the kitchen area, laughing and telling jokes, is okay, but not during rush hours and especially not over the food. When we speak bits of spit always flies out of one's mouth and it lands directly on the food they're preparing. The bathrooms need remolding, together with the dining area. And, I can't stress this enough, employees who are in charge of cleaning the dining area, bathrooms and outdoor area, should NOT be also forced to handle food, no matter if they washed their hands or not. Sometimes the kitchen is way overstaffed and not enough cleaning and making the place presentable.
My comment isn't for the employees, they work with what little they get, it's for corporate. You cannot expect for business to thrive and have happy employees if you're demonstrating you don't care about them. Your employees make or break your business, give them the proper working environment they deserve and new uniforms. Out of all the fast food restaurants on the island, Church's employees have the worst working conditions.
Now before my comment is blown off, I like to add, I've NEVER worked for Church's chicken, or any of their competitors, nor do I know any Church's employees. I do, however, have 20 years experience in food & beverage and fine dining for several hotels and I know when a problem is employee or corporate, in this case, corporate this is your fault, what are YOU going to do to fix your problem? Your employees deserve better.
This place tonight was dirty, a nasty and dirty food prep area and to top it off, with no one in line and they said hurry up cause we close shortly. You know I left and bought nothing from them and will not go back.
