So the facility itself was clean and well staffed. Quite cozy honestly. They were able to seat us right away at 7:15 on a Friday. Our Server DJ was great. We received our food in a very reasonable time frame. However my Burger was over cooked and bland. Luckily I had raw onion with it but even the onion lacked power. My wife got the Baked Mac and cheese with crispy chicken. The Mac and Cheese itself was pretty good but honestly not 20 bucks good. 10 bucks maybe. Kwik Trip Mac and cheese is WAY better. And the Chicken "an extra 6 bucks" was also over cooked and completely bland. Honestly not even edible. DJ made it right with us and his manager removed the entire Mac and cheese from the tab. Great service. Michelle was awesome, and she recommended my first dish. The Shrimp with Shriracha sauce was delicious. It was light and crispy... not heavily battered. The heat of the sauce wasn't too spicy either. It went well with the slaw, which wasn't smothered in dressing. The steak was perfectly cooked. But... the glaze on the veges was too sweet. The sauce that came with steak was too sweet too. Thankfully, it was on the side. The potato was alright, but nothing special. It was overpowered by the sweet veges and sauce. I had the coconut cake for dessert. It was light and not too sweet. The coconut flavour was subtle. Overall, a good dessert. I couldn't finish it though, it was huge. A good place to stop in for a date night or with family / friends. King Kong rolls and Bamboo bite rolls were great! Truffle fries were a little thinner than expected but still tasted great - sort of garlic flavor served with ketchup and a garlic aioli. The dessert is worth every penny!!! Wings and salad were quite good. Sadly the rainbow trout was overcooked and pretty flavorless. The staff was efficient and friendly. The wine by glass selection has some good values to be found. We had dinner on a Friday night and it was delicious. We were seated very quickly and our waitress was Hannah. She was very attentive and overall great. Food was delicious and a wonderful menu. Great specialty drink selection and wine list. Spider sushi roll was fantastic ad well as the very large chicken wings. Service was good and very attentive. Atmosphere was very nice,clean and a "nicer" restaurant. I would go again and highly reccomend.
