Delicious chardonnay is worth trying here. According to the guests' opinions, waiters serve great cappuccino. The great location of this bar makes it easy to reach by any transport. Coffee and dessert were good, but there is a bar tender/ waiter who is very rude and unfriendly. We left the place in a short time as we didn’t feel comfortable! The waitress who served us the dessert was nice though!

Would not recommend! Visited the restaurant with a group of 12. Beforehand, we called to inquire about the menu due to allergies. Unfortunately, the person who answered the call seemed quite rude and uninterested in assisting us. Upon arrival, we waited 30 minutes before being able to order drinks. There was a mix-up with our order, leading to an additional 15-minute wait for our drinks. It took 1.5 hours before we could finally place our meal orders, and it felt like we were being overlooked. The restaurant staff appeared dispirited, showing no enthusiasm for their work. Attempts to get their attention for additional drink orders were consistently ignored. After another 1.5-hour wait, we received our starters, which were satisfactory. However, we experienced yet another 1.5-hour delay before being served our main course. While the main course was acceptable, the side dishes were poorly prepared. The sprouts were undercooked, and the potatoes were excessively seasoned. In total, we spent 4.5 hours in the restaurant, only managing to have two drinks. The food was mediocre, and the staff displayed unfriendly behavior throughout the experience. Beautiful restaurant, nice staff and delicious food. Unfortunately we had to wait 50 minutes for our main course (after having had a starter), which just felt too long for us. I recently attended a friend’s wedding dinner at De Rietschans, located at Meerweg in Haren. While I didn’t dine in their restaurant, their upstairs hall, where the wedding took place, was a beautifully intimate space. One thing that truly stood out was the breathtaking view of the lake behind the venue. Watching the sunset over the waters added a magical touch to the evening. The dinner itself was catered externally, likely due to specific cuisine requirements for the wedding. Thus, I can’t comment on the restaurant’s food. However, the bar service at De Rietschans was top-tier. The staff were attentive and ensured our drinks were promptly served. Three years ago I left a wonderful review. Now I was very disappointed. Service was very very slow and it wasnt busy. Not one waiter or waitress cracked a smile. And I ordered the pad Thai. This is what turned up. A cheap AH stir-fry sauce with noodles for €20+. This took over an hour to come. Chef should be ashamed. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Love the snacks Menu not that special. They serve my fav royal club cassis. Cocktails could be better. It's a thing now a days. Service good. It's a place where a lot of "older" people tend to go to. Love sitting next to water. We had a good 3 hours over here. Meal type Other Price per person €20–30

Nice modern interieur, friendly service, next to beautiful lake. Food was fresh and tasty. We have tasted mostard soup which looked like local speciality, salade neptunus had very good combination of greens and four sorts of fishes. Tacos were tasty, just a bit too small for my taste, I would have been happier with one more taco. We have compensated it with desert from the nicely balanced desert list. Hangop was not too sweet and very good finishing touch of our lunch. Price per person €30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Une bonne surprise! Restaurant complètement refait récemment, très belle deco moderne. La cuisine est bien faite, on y a très bien mangé à un prix plutôt correct compte tenu du cadre et de la qualité. Le personnel est sympathique, souriant et serviable.
