If you feel hungry after visiting Museum Haarlem, have a meal at this restaurant. All the visitors like the menu that offers great Vegetarian cuisine at DeDakkas. I've been to the Dakkas four times and every time it's been excellent. The food is great and very tasty, and they are ready to adapt to your dietary requirements, if any (one of my lunch companions needed to eat gluten free, and that was no problem at all). The only thing, the last time I was there the food was very cold, as if it had just been taken out of the fridge, but for the rest everything lovely with plenty of choice, mainly vegetarian but there are also some meat and fish options. Good beers and a very nice choice of original, non standard drinks too. Their coffee is also quite good. I've had the best tomato juice ever and my cappuccino wasn't more expensive because of the fact that I asked for oat milk, which is definitely a plus since everybody else makes it more pricey for that reasons. Plus I loved the fact that tea leaves come loose in a reusable metal sieve so that there are no throw-away teabags and no microplastics, everything is environmentally sound and better for your health. The view is amazing and the terrace in Summer is a wonderful place to have lunch or dinner. Another plus: lovely personnel. And as a little, thoughtful finishing touch: a card with digestive peppermint candy after your meal. You won't know there's such a nice restaurant from street level, since it's on top of a big vertical parking lot with practically no signs that give away its location. Awesome location, a greenhouse on a rooftop. We had a nice sunny lunch but I can also imagine having a cosy meal with the rain ticking on the glass or a dinner under the stars! The food was amazing, lots of vegan options. And last of all the service was awesome, the staff was very kind and the vibe was easygoing and relaxed.

Totally recommend it for a either be it fancy dinner with loved ones or a nice dinner with a bunch of your friends. This places checks all the checkboxes for the vibe. Food is also good and recommend to try. Their weed burger will split you in opinion though - either you will love it or hate but it is definitely worth trying. P.S. Make sure you follow the sign properly as it is tricky to find this place. it could literally called out as 'Hidden Gem' Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Cozy and cute place. The service is fast. Cheesecake is highly recommended. It also has a terrace!! View is amazing.

Booked an (evening) table to celebrate our son’s birthday. Asked for table by the wall, due to issues with sound. When we arrived we were told no table was available, asked to wait. Eventually we decided to sit elsewhere. Sound was an issue, but the food while tasty was disappointing. Gravad lax plate mostly sauce; gnocchi quite bland and the cost of the full meal too high for what was served. Such a pity, usually lunched here and liked a lot! Prices really on the higher side but the food was really tasty. The pumpkin ravioli was excellent, as was the gnocchi bake. The side dishes are quite large, definitely recommend the fried mushrooms.
