Del Taco is another fast food place that simply does the food the same at every place. Not many food chains can say that. I completely enjoyed ordering the #1 2 taco meal. It had the right amount of ingredients for my taste buds. I tried their new dessert, the fried salted Carmel bites. They were very good, not too sweet with a blast of goodness. Our order taker had a great attitude, which I must admit at all the Del Tacos myself and my family have visited had very good attitudes. This speaks volumes of their upper management and how they train and treat their team. Don't be afraid to try Del Taco, they do it right. So slow. Always takes forever. Wait to get to the speaker, wait @ the speaker, wait @ the window. Even tried going in, they acted like they don't take orders @ the counter. Done the order on the app. Doesn't seem to speed it up. Food is fine. Just so slow Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Line at the drive in was long but moved quickly. Eduardo was super friendly and got us our food in peak condition. Birria ramen is pretty damn easy even though it's expensive for the amount you get. I had a pleasant experience with this Del Taco in January 2024. The drive through line was very long (7+ cars deep); however the service was efficient and it didn’t take too long to order and pick up from the window. I had ordered 6 various burritos and requested some del scorcho hot sauce. When opening the package at home I found del taco had supplied 4 packets of hot sauce for the six burritos purchased! I know inflation has hit everyone hard, but 4 packets? If the standard is 0.6 packets per burrito, then why supply the hot sauce at all? No sauce is less disappointing than a fraction of sauce per burrito. This location needs to pick up their game. The food at this location has been skimpier on higher cost ingredients than other locations I visit. Minimal dairy, hardly any meat, tons of rice and tons of beans. I wonder if the owners are pressuring managers to train accordingly, or if they run low on basics. The Employee-mixed drinks I've had here have been better than other Del Tacos, though! What really grates me is that even the drive-thru has a *required* tip when paying by credit card. I can't stand that, and because of it, I will not be returning to this location. Pay your employees a wage that's reasonable. Tips in fast food are ridiculous, tips through a drive-thru made me feel even angrier at those owning and/or managing. My hubby ordered me a brisket burrito from the drive thru. Brought it home n it was cold. The fat from the brisket had that greasy taste. Y’all know what I’m talking bout “when fat gets cold” the cheese wasn’t even melted. Then it got me thinking if this burrito was from last night? Ugh never again! I’ve been going here for years and I’ve given them chance after chance. The staff here is unbelievably rude. There is only one manager here that is decent. Unfortunately today I got one of the rude ones. After I was served stale food at the drive thru , i brought it back for a refund. The MOD insisted on taking the fact that she sent out stale food personally. She took it upon herself to argue with me about the food saying she made it herself. Which doesn’t take away from the fact that she sent out stale food. Instead of issuing the refund and letting me be on my way, she decided to be rude and cut me off and not let me talk. Even tho I was being very patient and respectful. The simple fact is, if my food is stale, you fix it. Period. No feelings need to be involved. It was unacceptable for her to slam the food in the the trash or to argue with me about my food. The manager gets an F in customer relations. To top it all off even though I was with my child, I was getting stared down by one of the male employees with a tattoo on his neck. To feel like I may have to defend myself for asking for a refund politely is RIDICULOUS. This is the second time I’ve had an issue with employees being passive aggressive or flat out aggressive in general at this location. 08/20 12:29 pm.
