Once the promenade around the Firuzaga Mosque is over, visit Deraliye. If you want to taste Turkish meals, take your chance and visit this restaurant. Deraliye offers you nicely cooked goose, sarma and beef kebabs. Try good almond pudding, halo-halo and flija. This place has delicious house wine, beer or cordial among its drinks. According to the guests' opinions, waiters offer great coffee, tea or lemon juice. It's easy to find this spot due to its convenient location. Imagine a combination of great food and the gracious staff, this is exactly what this restaurant provides you with. The fine service is something these restaurateurs care about. Guests of Deraliye say that they found prices democratic. You will certainly like the charming ambiance and terrific decor. 4.7 is what this place received from the Google rating system.

Chose this restaurant because we read it in Lonely Planet. It did not disappoint. If you are in Istanbul try this restaurant and you will enjoy your experience. We had the Pistachio Kebab and the Goose Kebab. For dessert we had Kemet. Presentation was nice. Food was tasty. The restaurant serves ottoman cuisine. The most impressive was the goose kebab which you do not easily find it anywhere else in Istanbul. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

While the food here is acceptable, it in no way justifies the price tag. Similar quality can be had all over Istanbul for a third of the price. Presentation was also lacking given the cost. Not sure what Michilen is doing rating this place. Two stars only because the service was excellent.

A restaurant definitely worthy of a Michelin star! The food was exquisite, specifically the meals served on the degustation menu. The service was even better, thanks to the lovely Emrah. Excellent cuisine paired with outstanding service. The degustation menu was flawless in every way. Brilliant combination of the kebab courses with the refreshing fruit compote cutting through the richness of the meat. Contrary to many reviews, this place hasn't earned any Michelin Stars yet, but best wishes for that in the future. We visited Deraliye for dinner on our first night in Istanbul and let's say it gave a flying start to our amazing holiday. The restaurant is Michelin rated which goes on to show the quality of the food and the service. We went for a few starters including lamb meatballs with baba ganoush and tabbouleh, with the mains being lamb in tandoori and a grilled sea bass with salad. The rotis with olive paste was amazing and was replenished as soon as we finished one. We could say all the food had been made with care and it was delicious. The pricing is on the medium range for a michelin star restaurant and there were plenty of spaces available for us. Highly recommended!
