Llevo años visitando el lugar y han disminuido la cantidad de jueyes, carne en las acapurria. Antes eran llenas de carne jueyes, o carne ahorita es más masa y poca carne . Los bacalaitos CIEGO no tiene carne de bacalao si sabe a agua de bacalaitos con recaito pero es solo arina con sabor a bacalaitos. . El servicio del personal exelente. El chico lo veo desde adolescente y ya todo un adulto. Pero tristemente la disminución de ingredientes es una engaño al cliente que paga muy alto por un producto muy bajo. Hay que evaluar si en los platos principales de marisco si el precio es el indicado para la cantidad servida. Un kiosco que inició con un fogón logrando el éxito por su característica de dar bueno productos.

We visited this restaurant in 2021 and had a great experience. Figured we would stop again on our vacation to Puerto Rico and had a great experience. The food was great. The server was friendly. There were a lot of options to choose from, so everyone was able to find something they liked. Highly recommend!

This is my favorite in Piñones bc the cuchifritos are made fresh when you order, so it’s worth the wait. Others along this route have good food, but it’s already made, so if you’re in a rush, those may be better for you. However, if you have time, then there’s nothing better than getting your alcapurria or bacalaito piping hot!

End of May to mid-June, while in Puerto Rico a couple of weeks ago, I visited several restaurants mainly on the east coast. One of them, Donde Olga, located in Piñones, a few miles east of Isla Verde/El Condado area. We were driving to another place someone recommended, and due to a "tapón " (traffic bottleneck) literally chose this place based on the design, color, how busy it looked (probably the food is good) and the parking. The place was colorful (aqua blue), and there was outside/inside seating. There was music playing. Piñones is known for the chinchorros. They make all kinds of fresh fritters, drinks, fresh coconut from the tree with your favorite liquor, and you chill. Well, this restaurant has one. There was a line to order at the chinchorro. We decided to eat inside near the bar area. Music was playing, entertaining, while we waited for the Medalla beer, and Margarita, as always. Then, I switched to Don Q (national rum)drink. I had to have a fritter, so I ordered a bacalaito ( cod fish fritter) and alcapurrias de carne (this one was green banana fritter filed w ground meat). Both were fresh, hot (not spicy), tender, and not greasy. I ate 1 of each, leaving space for the main course. We ordered a skirt steak plate and a grilled chicken plate, and I had to order the red snapper. It was crunchy, tasty, and well seasoned with tostones (squashed green banana slices. You need to make sure they are fresh otherwise they taste like cardboard as the saying goes). I completely enjoyed it and sort of dissected the fish. The skirt steak meat was tender, easy to cut. The grilled chicken was made to perfection. No room for dessert, unfortunately. This place was not pricy. The server was awesome. He was running all over the place. The food was fresh, tasty, and delicious. It was so good we returned 2 days later ordered the same except no grilled chicken replaced it with yellow rice and shrimps. Plenty of shrimps, the rice not sticky. Nice ambiance close to the beach. I highly recommend Donde Olga awesome food great service you can relax listen to music while you eat not loud and enjoy your food. I'll come back again, no doubt. I rated this a 5 experience.
