The owners here are a very friendly husband wife duo. Waiting in line you can see how they remember each of their regulars by the stream of banter all the way through your order. There’s a very good variety of donuts themselves, you can find all your standard donut styles, as well as a couple kinds that are Moorpark Unique I got the perfect apple fritter here, nothing I got was soggy or stale and the owners were very friendly which is always the cherry on top. Donut shop West is the hidden gem of Moorpark. Whether you're looking for the best donuts in California or a freshly made bagel or turkey croissant, this is the place to go. The chocolate that they use on their donuts is better than any other chocolate. Everybody there is super friendly and nice and you're always greeted with a smile

Came Christmas eve and donuts were fresh and a good variety. Plus the owners were so nice and gave my son a donut hole because he was getting antsy in line. Our new fav donut shop 😋
