The food has always been just okay depending on what you get the American food not so much but the owner and its staff have a horrible attitude and unwilling to fix mistakes done by their staff even when admitting a mistake has been done. Five more min up the road there’s a better Mexican restaurant called cerro grande more authentic and better quality. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

Surprisingly good! The portions are better than other places , the corn tortillas are probably specially made for the place, the steak is tasty. I came across this place because a couple of friends brought some huge burritos for lunch, one of them shared a sample and that sparked my curiosity. The menu is similar to many other places (nothing surprising), it is just the care to season things right, the portions, the quality... etc, that's what makes the difference. First time in the Chicago area, and we're stopping at our kind of restaurant. Excellent Mexican fare. I tried the chorizo flautas and she had enchiladas. The guacamole is thick, plentiful and we'll spiced. The chorizo is good enough that I have to be careful not to come too often. Nice variety of sauces, and the rice has a strong, robust flavor. Seating is very comfortable and it's not too loud at early afternoon. Dinners are about 20 a head and worth the price. Parking is tight, and I suggest coming in from the north because of Burnham traffic. Absolutely worth a stop. First time going to this spot. Was seeing some mixed reviews so I almost went to a different spot. Very glad I stuck it out. Very good food , A+ hospitality. I was seeing some other reviews regarding the atmosphere whether the music was too loud or there were inappropriate videos. The only thing that was different is that the music and tvs were not what u expected to be playing inside a restaurant like this. Which I think is due to the younger song being in control of that. That being said, the music does not take away from the experience at all, and if it is an issue take the food to go and enjoy it. Overall, I recommend!
