There is a line out the door for a reason. 1. This is THE perfect fish taco in California (yes, including down the coast to San Diego). The perfect ratio of pico/light cabbage with a generous fish portion and an excellent corn tortilla. Their hot sauce is also a benchmark and available for purchase separately — highly recommended. 2. The “ambience” at some of the locations is just one step above standing next to a taco truck in a parking lot, but the staff is very friendly and I promise that you will leave happy (especially if you order 3 fish tacos. It’s a great taco joint in the heart of El Monte. Slightly overpriced but the taste is great. I could close my eyes and order. I think you can’t go wrong with anything from the menu. This spot has awesome tacos. We had the fish and potato tacos and they were 😋 tasty. There was homemade salsa and the beans delicious as well. The restaurant has a drive through if you want to eat at home. The inside was clean and had seating. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great shrimp and fish tacos, even the taco dorado de papa was as crunchy as it could be! This place has been on my list for a minute, finally made the time to come and it was very much worth it! The batter is very good and has a great crunch! The waiters are very attentive and will come around to the tables asking if everything is ok. The agua de sandia was delicious!
