The fried pork chops tasted like my mother’s and that’s a good thing. I also had the collards, yams and cornbread. The portions were very generous so I have enough for another meal. It was so nice to find a restaurant with homemade food and all the employees were so friendly. Oh yeah, the strawberry lemonade is to die for. I am so amazed with the service and overall experience that my fiancé and I received at Family Ty’s today for our wedding tasting. The food was to die for! Absolutely delicious. Could definitely tell that Ty takes pride in his work and cooks with love! If you haven’t tried, you are missing out! Had a quick lunch with the wife and Family Ty's was a good spot to do. The pulled pork sandwich was delicious. It had a good sauce and the smoke on the pork comes through and gives it an extra zing in flavor. Well worth the stop. We love this place! To start, the staff is so friendly you feel like you’re really in a family atmosphere. The food… AMAZING! We’ve tried almost everything on the menu and it’s always so good.
