Food was good once it showed up. They were busy and we were hungry so maybe I a bit more critical. I will say it was worth the wait.. I had the pork chops and mashed potatoes..

Some of the best country fried steak I've ever had. It's served with brown gravy, hashbrowns, two eggs and a side of toast. The food comes out piping hot. The service is exceptionally good and fast. Wonderful atmosphere and the food is a 10/10 regarding portion sizes and flavor.

Country Fried Steak
Got the carry-out fried fish last night (Friday) with potatoes, cole slaw, and a bun. Fried fish was limp, soggy, and greasy. Tasted like more like oil than fish. Just bad. I wish someone had posted and let people know this. It was really gross, couldn't even eat it. Hash brown potatoes weren't good either, just oily and greasy. Now I'm out $13 for a bad meal you couldn't even eat.
Went with a group but was pretty tight seating. It was a tally uncomfortable. . One more 4 top would have made a difference. The food was very good and the waitress was excellent....sure don't know how she got all those orders correct....she was amazing!!!

Had breakfast, veg.omelett had approximately 2tbsp of veg in a 3 egg omelette, cheese that would not melt, shredded potatoes that were burnt, cold and mushy the waitress was very apologetic and tried to get 1.00 taken off the bill , but since I had shared with my husband (he didn't eat them either) the mgr said since more than 3/4 was off my plate they wouldn't give ANY credit, we usually go there about 3to4 times a month, the food was awful, we won't go back. Shame that place used to have customers lined up to the door but no more.

This was off of the beaten path from where
we originally planned to go, beause that one had closed on this day. Fortunately for us, this one was definitely well worth the effort to get to. Speaking of effort, we had to drive past the restaurant and turn around down the street. There is a large median in the way that blocks access to the driveway.
We came here at 2:30 pm, and the place was still about ½ full. That to me speaks volumes about the restaurant. They have a rather large menu, so there are plenty of choices to suit your taste. I also noticed that they serve breakfast all day as well. The staff was very friendly and nice. The food came out very hot and pretty quickly.
I ordered the broasted chicken meal. It came with 4 pieces of chicken, JoJo potatoes, and a salad. The chicken had a light coating on it and was crisp on the outside and very moist on the inside. The salad was just iceberg lettuce, a little bit of carrot, and 2 small tomatoes, no greens, but still tasted good. The JoJo's were large and had a light flavorful coating on them. Everything was delicious.
My wife ordered the seafood pasta. There was a lot of seafood mixed in with the pasta. It had a light buttery sauce and came with a salad and a large piece of garlic bread. I think they could have lessened the amount of sauce on it for our tastes. Otherwise, it was good.
For the fact that this was an unplanned visit, this was well worth the trip. I found the prices to be very reasonable.
