This was our first visit to Fire Stone. I had the Hawaiian Pizza, my wife had Chicken Marsala and our friend had "Meat Baby" pizza. We had stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer and chocolate cake as a dessert. We have nothing but great things to say about the food - cooked to perfection! The stuffed mushrooms with cream cheese, bacon and balsamic glaze took the show! Plating composition was masterfull! Finally, our host, Kaytlan expertly made our first visit a joy!!! Thank you! Came in for the gluten free pizza and was sad they were out but instead enjoyed the wings, carrots, and sweet potato tots. The carrots were excellent. I wish the wings were cooked a little longer - they were fully cooked by not hot by the bone. I'm really impressed with the teamwork and kindness of the staff. Those girls have each other's backs. This was our first time at the Fire Stone Wood Fired Grill. We got there at 5pm, and were glad we did because the restaurant and small parking lot were full before 6pm. This is apparently a hot spot for locals. We like being able to see the pizzas made from scratch, and enjoyed watching the staff maintain the two stone grills. The rest of the dining area was nice. The prices on the menu are higher than the average place, so I expect the food to be exceptional. It was not. The salads were perfectly made. Cut up nicely, and nice dressings. Tasted homemade! The Hawaiian pizza was overcooked on the bottom of the pie but not quite cooked on the top. This tells me the stone grill was too hot. My party also ordered the chicken parmesan was a dry, and the breading was a bit too much. The garlic bread was cooked just like the pizza...too done on the bottom. The flavor profile for everything was there, and was good. Maybe we just came at a bad time for the stone grills to be under control. We will be back, because we liked the place. The fish and shrimp batter was tasty. If you’re sensitive to salt then stay away from this item. I didn’t enjoy my meal fully for this reason. Overall, the pizza was delicious! The customer service was excellent! The atmosphere was very pleasant!
