From Scratch Bakery & Cafe is a Kenosha gem! Visited for the first time today, shortly before 2:00pm. We bought a couple bags of chocolate chip cookies -- among the handful of items left for the day. The cookies were delicious -- crisp yet buttery with just the right amount of extract. I can see why the bakery sells out. Definitely going early in the morning next time and looking forward to trying other treats.

A little hidden from the main street this wonderful little bakery serves some of the best pastry's I've had in a long time. They post their daily soup menu on FB and update if they sell out. Just a nice group and a pleasant alternative to chain shops.

Awesome croissants and Pain au chocolate. Lamination was great and they were full of flavor. What a treat! we ate them before I thought to take a picture, sorry about that...

This is my new favorite soup place (that has wonderful bakery items). They update their Facebook page daily and if you are following them they even occasionally do specially crafted box lunches! Easy parking, nice downtown location, and friendly local owners. Try it out.
