This is my first restaurant review EVER and I must say my experience was AMAZING. Mind you my husband doesn’t eat fish and ordered the filet mignon- succulenting! I am reviewing from someone who has eaten at Wolfgang Pucks in Manhattan ! The “sushi:chef choice “ was to die for, and I felt as if I had hired a personal chef! A definite 5 star! Bravo!

The service was good, and we didn’t have trash or empty plates on our table for long. The wait staff was extremely attentive. However, the atmosphere was chaotic. The low blue lights felt constricting, and the loud-upbeat club music made it very difficult to carry a conversation. The food was good average and extremely skimpy for the prices. The salmon sashimi was three little thin ribbons of salmon; not even an ounce. We spent $70 on food, and left to get something to cook at home. The rolls are small and the protein in them is small. For being a sushi restaurant (no teppanyaki), the sushi was just average. There are better sushi places in town with fairer portions for the price. I’d be happy to pay their prices if the quality matched. The place is all style, no substance. It’s a shame since they are so close to home. We’ve been to this place a couple of times, but, this is the first time we sat inside. I have to say the atmosphere is absolutely beautiful, the artwork and the lights brought great ambience to our dinner. Our server, Jenna was absolutely the best. I did not take a lot of pictures because i was overwhelmed with the ambiance, the service was amazing, The food was incredibly good. I recommend the asian noodle soup its so tasty and generous portions! The specialty rolls are fresh and delicious. I really enjoyed the pirates cove roll and the happy hour rolls were a nice touch. The waitress was so great. She was present but not hovering. She gave explanations and suggestions that were really helpful. The music was ambient and lovely. I am OBSESSED with this place. Jeremey and Nick are the best. They create the most elevated and delicious drinks. I will always come back for happy hour when these two are there. They are quick with their service while also maintaining excellent and attentive customer service. It is a warm and snazzy environment where the customers are friendly and fun. I recently moved here and this is the only sushi i like in town. Good food and good company. I am never disappointed!
