Affordable place for takeout or large groups. Simple, but good food. I have worked here 6/7 years ago and the quality has gone up over the years.

I am from England staying in Drachten for the last month. During my stay I visited the Golden Wok several times and enjoyed it more and more with every visit. I speak very little Dutch however the staff here speak great English. Everybody has been so kind and helpful. The restaurant is beautiful inside with interesting features and lighting. I highly recommend the wok buffet where you can select any combination of raw ingredients to be cooked in front of your eyes by a highly skilled chef. I leave the Netherlands tomorrow so I decided to come back tonight for my last meal in Drachten as this is a truly a special place!
