Po krajšem pohodu sva se oglasila v gostilni Vrabec.narocila sva Slivove cmoke in se ozirala po ostalih mizah,kjer so se gostili z drugimi ( mesnimi) jedmi. Kužki so budno spremljali dogajanje na mizah,saj so bile vonjave zelo mamljive.Pila sva domač ledeni čaj in bila navdušena tudi ob njegovem okusu. S prijaznima lastnikoma bi zlahka klepetala dolgo v večer in tudi čas ob Geoss točki se zdi,da lahko teče počasneje kot v dolini.Toplo priporočava.

We ended up here by chance. We were looking for a place with authentic local food and Gostilna Vrabec shown up on the map.
Good things happen when you least expect them, and this was the case! We were warmly welcomed by Miriam and her husband, who shown us around and kept us company with interesting conversations while we were waiting for the meal to be ready.
The food was exquisite, we both had a local trout with fried (handcut) potatoes and grilled veg from their own garden.
We also tried a typical walnut and cinnamon spirit made by Miriam from her gandma's recipe, which was perfect to warm up our stomachs! The house wine was excellent.
This is one of those memorable one of a kind experiences that warm up your heart and reassures you that authentic local food still exists, you just need to look up beyond your nose :)
We will surely come back. Highly recommended!
Abbiamo trovato questo posto per caso. Stavamo cercando un ristorante dove poter mangiare cibo tradizionale autentico e Gostilna Vrabec è apparso sulla mappa.
Le cose belle succedono quando meno te le aspetti, e questo è proprio il caso di dirlo! Siamo stati accolti calorosamente da Miriam e suo marito, i due proprietari, che ci hanno mostrato tutte le stanze del locale e le zone limitrofe. Miriam ci ha tenuto compagnia con una conversazione molto interessante mentre aspettavamo il pasto.
Il cibo era squisito, entrambi abbiamo preso la trota con contorno di patate fritte (tagliate a mano) e verdura grigliata direttamente dal loro orto. Abbiamo anche provato un liquore di noce e cannella fatto da Miriam con la ricetta di sua nonna, che è stato perfetto per riscaldare lo stomaco! Il vino della casa ottimo.
Questa è stata una di quelle esperienze memorabili che restano nel cuore e ti rassicurano sul fatto che il cibo autentico locale esiste ancora, bisogna solamente cercare al di là del proprio naso!
Torneremo sicuramente. Altamente consigliato!

Lastnica in lastnik sta pripravila izjemno kosilo. Jedi iz domačega vrta, pripravljene na zelo prefinjen način. Zelo okusna hrana. Definitivno priporočam za kosilo ali večerjo.
