Wij kwamen gisteren met onze 86 jarige oma bij jullie om te lunchen helaas was het erg druk, de serveerster vroeg ons, vrij onvriendelijk, om aan de bar te wachten op een vrije plek. Een barkruk is uiteraard geen geschikte plek voor een dame van 86 jaar. Wij zijn dan ook vertrokken om in een ander restaurant te gaan lunchen. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

During my long stay at the hotel (now on day 6 out of 10), I have the opportunity to dine almost daily at the Grand Café 1834, and I must admit it is an absolute feast for the taste buds. Each day brings delicious dishes, and their variety and quality mean that I never get bored with the food. The head chef of this restaurant is a true culinary artist. Most importantly, he shows remarkable flexibility and openness to guests' needs. He readily modifies dishes and even cooks something especially for me, taking into account my preferences and requirements. As someone with a gluten intolerance, I often face difficulties in finding suitable food options, but in this restaurant, I always feel understood and safe. The chef always manages to add such a "twist" to the menu items so that I can also enjoy the full flavor and aroma of the served dishes. In addition to the exceptional food, the service is equally impressive. The staff is consistently friendly and accommodating, making each dining experience even more enjoyable. Their attention to detail and genuine care for guests' satisfaction is evident in every interaction. The professionalism, passion, and creativity of the head chef, combined with the warm and helpful service, make this restaurant deserving of the highest praise. Each visit is not just a meal for me, but a true culinary experience. Gezellige middag gehad in een informele sfeer met vriendelijke bediening, dichtbij gratis parkeren en liggend in het bos van Oranjewoud. Price per person €1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Wij hebben hier al een paar keer gegeten. Zowel lunch als diner en zowel op het terras als binnen en iedere keer zijn wij erg tevreden over het heerlijke eten en de vriendelijke bediening. Het is een prachtige zaak, gelegen midden in de bossen van Oranjewoud. Eén van ons eet veganistisch. Dit is geen enkel probleem bij Grand Café 1834. Dit hoort natuurlijk ook geen probleem te zijn, maar mijn ervaring is dat niet elke eetgelegenheid daarop voorbereidt is als je het niet van tevoren hebt aangegeven.
