We walked in an hour before closing and the server (Jay?) was great! He was patient, did not even think to try to rush us, and he was very attentive the entire time. This little hole in the wall place doesn't look much from outside but inside is perfect. The ambience is just right. The place is pretty small but didn't feel cramped at all. We obviously didn't go during peak hours so it could maybe feel cramped if it was packed. The food was FANTASTIC! We had the Spinach Ftayir as a starter and the server brought us this amazing Lebanese hot sauce that complemented the flavor of the ftayir really well. For our entrees we had the Kibbeh with rice and the Lebanese sandwich with fries. The fries are so light and pillowy, there's not really another way to describe them. They had a little crunch on the outside, seasoned perfectly, and they were soft in the inside. In my opinion, the perfect fry. They are served with ketchup but I used the hot sauce previously mentioned instead. The sandwich was really good. I would maybe ask for some kind of sauce to go inside of it or to dip next time, but that is a personal preference. It was still absolutely delicious and still moist enough without it. The kibbeh was traditional in flavor but bigger than most we've ordered in other restaurants. It came with Lebanese rice, of course tzaziki sauce, and onions mixed with herbs. Everything on every plate was perfect 👌. They have home pressed/made juices. All of the juices on the menu are made in house. We had the hibiscus juice and the mango juice and both were on point. The mango juice tasted like when you bite into a fresh mango. The hibiscus juice was not too sweet and not too perfumey like some floral drinks and foods can get. I would 10/10 recommended this place to anyone! Update: 1/23/24 @ 7pm Same experience as previously but with server Sally. Ordered the feta fries, falafel appetizer and meat combo. The Feta on the fries was crumbled but moist and the size of the chunks was values but quite large. Perfect size for the price. The falafels are small but delicious and they come with a garlic sauce that is great. The meat combo comes with pilaf rice and onion cilantro and herbs mixture (same as above) and a tzaziki sauce. We got pita bread with an herb and oil mixture. The bread was fresh and texture was perfect. I ordered the lebanese hot sauce and the Hedary's sauce for dipping. I mixed the hot sauce into all the white sauces and used it by itself as well. That hot sauce is perfection 👌 To drink this time, we had the mint lemonade (this was my second favorite drink after the hibiscus juice), a Lebanese beer, and the Lebanese yogurt drink. I love everything we've had here, but my brain was not prepared for the flavor of the Lebanese yogurt drink. I don't know why I thought it would be sweet, but it was savory. It's basically plain Greek yogurt with water and salt added with some herbs in the top. It's good, but I was just not prepared for this flavor so my brain did not accept it. It works really well with this flavor profile of food, but I don't suggest starting with it before your food comes. The savory salty yogurt flavor is definitely not for everyone and can throw you off if you're expecting it to be sweet (like milki's: the Asian sweet fruity yogurt drink).
