It's hard to beat HuHot if you want fresh and endlessly customizable food! This was my first time going to the East location, and it was a good experience. Definitely sign up for the app for a BOGO meal on your birthday. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

I have been here many times. There are some times where the wait was long and environment not so clean. But, lately they have corrected this issue. The environment was clean. Brad was an excellent waiter, very attentive. We enjoyed our visit. The wait staff all seemed to enjoy their jobs. The cook staff as well had a good rhythm and were enjoying the work. Fun place! My son chose this place for his birthday dinner. They have a HUGE selection of raw foods on the buffet. You pile your bowl with items like rice noodles, shrimp, pork, chicken and veggies. Then you go to the second table where they have a huge selection of oils and seasonings. Above this table they have recipes posted so you know how to put it all together. They make it simple! Then you go to the big round grill and the chefs cook it in front of you. I did a version of Pad Thai. It was fantabulous! PS, we went back a second time.... still really good & I highly recommend! I love it. Can't get enough. My stacking game is top notch. You don't need as many noodles as you think, it's a trick. You can't skip them, they create the space for your sauces at the bottom of the bowl. Stack the meat as high as you can on one side of the bowl, not flat covering all the noodles. A master doesn't reveal all his secrets, but if I pulled this with 2 bowls I would feel guilty. Since I use 1 bowl like they ask, I feel like a champion as I watch them dump it onto the grill... I smile as they wonder how all of that was in one bowl. Togo bowls, I enjoy HuHot for 3 days.. I feel guilty so I don't do it often and I have never really tried to stack one too high. Cheating... Don't let them splash water on your meal. It washes the flavor off. Make. Sure you have plenty of sauce. Don't let them wipe the black char from their utensils on your plate. Sauces? I follow the sweet and sour.... kinda. Scaled all the way up for a perfectly stacked bowl you need quite a bit; 2 teriyaki 4 sweet n sour 1 kung pow wow 1 Lemon juice 1 ginger broth 1 sesame oil I really enjoy HuHot. I typically enjoy my visits to HuHot. Tonight was a glaring exception. While the service was fine, it was the flavor that just wasn't present. At all. Over the years of frequenting this chain in many states, I have cultivated my specific set of sauces and amounts I use to get my favorite flavor profile and I use a fair amount of sauce. Tonight, no matter how much I used, adding until my bowl was nearly overflowing, I could not get more than a hint of flavor on my food. They must have been cut with something or watered down. It was the most disappointing meal I've had at a HuHot restaurant. Unfortunate. I will not be coming back to this location anytime soon in the foreseeable future. I was impressed with this HuHot. I have only been to the Fargo location but have many times. I really like how this place is set up. The buffet line flows nicely. Everything was clean and fresh. Staff was great and attentive! They even have a bar area.
