DIRTY RESTAURANT. I've eaten here many times but the last 3+ times this place has gotten really dirty. Everything from the floor, booths, tables, windows you sit next to are all filthy. Also the place is starting to smell bad, maybe like old frying oil... Please get it together. I think you have the best sushi in Chico, but I don't want to sit in filthy while I eat.. I left a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses here, I called and asked if they found them and I was told they did. I told them the value and asked them to keep them. I was assured they would put them in a safe place. When I returned they knew nothing about them. They handed me a lost and found box shown on photo. This is how much they value clients property. They just give the box to anyone to take what they want.

Food was decent. I don't recommend the teriyaki sauce dishes. The wait was pretty long and the place was just stuffed with people. We did arrive at lunch time so it was the busiest time of day. The cleanliness wasn't very good, especially on the curtain when you go towards the bathrooms. That was a pretty gross curtain to have to push through to go back there. It was loud here but the service was very friendly and calm, took her time and was very attentive. Our kid ate most of his rainbow roll so it must have been pretty good. Incredible sushi and service!!!!! I’ve had sushi all over California and pretty much the rest of the USA…highly recommend this one. Enjoy!!!

I was blessed today when my kid brought sushi home after her classes. She raves about the place and I must agree because it was amazing even after a 45 minute drive. The maki plate was a meal on its own and the tuna, yellow tail and salmon were wicked fresh. The wasabi vinaigrette was tremendous on the salad the edamame fresh and crisp.
