This is by far one of the best restaurants we've visited lately. A must visit for travelers and gourmets in search for an authentic Serbian hospitality and dishes. The place is very popular, so do anticipate a line to be seated, but it's absolutely worth the wait. We were headed on a road trip to Bulgaria for some skiing and stopped here to eat. It was delicious. Very small menu and everything tasty and fresh. Do yourself a favour and stop by. A tiny tip for the staff, the meat is slightly too salty. I think people eat less salty nowadays. Perhaps use a bit less salt on the meat and those who need more can add it themselves. Good value for money, food was decent and the service could be better. They only take cash which is strange due to the fact that when I was there it was busy and no ATM machine near so make sure your carrying cash. Awesome. The restaurant is located along the Belgrade-Niš highway and it is not too complicated to get to it. Google Maps leads you very nicely to the parking lot of the restaurant. The parking lot is arranged in a homely manner, with natural shade waiting for you. The restaurant has outdoor or indoor seating. Everything is decorated in a traditional spirit, not any luxury. The waiters are very kind, friendly, smiling and quick at every hint. As soon as you choose the table and sit down, before you order anything, a traditional appetizer is brought to the table, which consists of several types of salad, ajvar, and fresh bread. The menu consists mainly of grill meat, but there are also cooked dishes. I especially recommend "buć buć", which you really need to try. This is not a restaurant that has a huge selection of food and drinks, but what is on offer is truly superb. The toilet is very decent. In the end, when you get the bill to pay, you will be really happy. Nowhere in the region I have eaten of such high quality food for such little money. I am planning to go there when ever is the occasion to visit for a lunch.

Great food, pleasant place, low prices. If you’re hungry, you should visit.

A lovely tavern with plenty of parking space. When you arrive, the waiter immediately brings free salads. If you eat them while you are waiting for delicious food, they will bring more salads for free. The food is tasty and affordable. It's a great place for families. There is a big garden outside where children can play. The toilets are outside the tavern.

This restaurant (kafana) 20km from Niš, is one of the popular places in South Serbia if you want to try local BBQ. The salads are free of charge.
