This is the type of ponchos I grew up with, however, they were a lot cheaper back then! I was told by the locals that you can still find super cheap pinchos, however, the quality just isn't there. They cheap out on the meat or seasoning. So while I didn't regret the experience, sometimes it's hard to reconcile that it's not the 80s anymore and 4 good pinchos actually cost $15. Tremendo servicio! Los pinchos son riquisimos. Estuvimos de roadtrip por el centro de la isla, nos dio un antojo de comer pinchos y de camino para la playa Los tubos paramos. Super buenos! Definitivamente se los recomiendo.

It's a tie for 1stplace for meat skews (pinchos). Awesome flavor and grilled to the right moment. Also, octopus salad with fried plantain are GREAT. Keko is also a great host in his business.
