not just a kimchi house, but a kimchi home. kind of pricey for a neighborhood restaurant, but the portions are massive and the quality of the food is great; you’ll have leftovers for days that reheat nicely. staff are sweet sweet older women. personal favorite menu items include the kim bob, jap chae, and classic beef bulgogi.

Kimchi House is the best Korean experience and food you’re going to find. The owner makes everything herself by hand, and is very kind and accommodating to customers. The appearance might be humble, but the food is out of this world. It’s the best Korean food I’ve ever had. Don’t order delivery—come into the restaurant and experience it for yourself. Small family run homely place with ok atmosphere but the food is outstanding. It felt like eating at a Korean home. Everything we ordered was amazing and delicious. The woman who owns and operates this place says shes been there for 17 years. When she greeted us at the door you can feel the love she has for the restaurant. Shes a sweet older lady that does it all! She was there by herself and was the hostess, the bartender, the cook, and the waiter. As a result of it just being her there by herself the service slowed down a bit. The interior was so cozy and welcoming we didn't mind. The food was delicious and I'd definitely want to come back again. It's a shame it took me this long to discover this place! Great food. Owner makes you feel like family. Ignore exterior. Interior is nice. Go ASAP. Town is widening the road and will take down restaurant in a few months. Don't miss it. Try the Kloud beer! We got the kimchi stew and jap chae and they were both excellent. The atmosphere is one of a kind and very cozy. The owner is endearing and sweet! When we went she was the only one working (she was chef, hostess, and server) and she kept her cool and everything ran smoothly!
