Although Lo Loma Mexican Restaurant boasts an inviting ambiance and top-notch service, my dining experience fell short of expectations. Starting with fresh chips and salsa set a promising tone, yet the subsequent dishes failed to deliver. Despite the hefty price tag, my jalapeño tequila shrimp lacked flavor and excitement, while the sopapillas were disappointingly doughy and bland. While the service and atmosphere were exceptional, the lackluster meal left much to be desired. Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Wow, wow, wow.. loved it! Everything tasted so good 😊👍🏻 Such a beautiful atmosphere, excellent customer service, warm relaxing.. my chimichagas were super tasty, highly recommend. The guacamole had just the perfect zing, green chili was chunky with pork and so flavorful, a little hot but so good. The price was not bad and I had leftovers! Love this restaurant. Gorgeous view with large panoramic windows and a great patio. Went for happy hour where they have cheaper drinks and apps. Chips and quest were delicious. The green Chile enchilada was out of this world, and the Mexico city street tacos were ok (the tortilla fell apart). Overall great option for Castle Rock!! So glad they expanded from their Denver location as there’s a huge lack of upscale Mexican cuisine here! Lovely atmosphere with panoramic views of Castle Rock. Friendly and efficient service. The green Chile is the best I’ve ever had and the handmade to order tortillas are so tender, fluffy and delicious. I prefer this location to the Denver one! We took my mom and sister to a birthday dinner and we were all very pleased! We had never been here before but the waiter was great, the food came out tasty and hot, the margaritas and cocktails were delicious! I'd recommend to anyone who loves quality Mexican food! Will definitely go back! The only complaint I'd make is, the food seemed to be priced a little steep for what I'm used to. Still though, wonderful restaurant!! Green chili was paste. It didn't taste bad, it's just really thick and had a slight flour taste. Great margaritas. Our server was on top of everything. It's a beautiful location, and the fire pits outside made the 1.5 hour wait for a table more bearable. The picture is the sunset from the fire pit area. For the price the food was ok. We were heading back from Manitou Springs and stopped here for dinner. We walked in and the ambiance was amazing. Low lighting, fresh tortillas being made right when you walk in, super kind hostesses who got us in right away.. truly a great first impressions. The chips and salsa were good. Salsa is on the hot side if you like that. I don’t love hot but it was tasty. I had the Tequila Shrimp || Pan seared jumbo shrimp finished with a tequila-jalapeno lime butter and serrano peppers. Served with rice and black beans || This would have been amazing if I like hot food. I thought the tequila Jalapeño lime sauce would be mild but my mouth was on fire. If you like spicy, this is your meal. The Chicken | Fajitas were fantastic || Our specialty, served on a bed of sizzling onions with hatch green chile, guacamole, cheese, sour cream, pico de gallo, serrano peppers, limes, and house-made flour tortillas. Strawberry/Lime Ranch Water || Herradura Silver, Topo Chico, lime, agave, fresh strawberries || This was a very good drink, especially if you’re a Topo Chico fan! Overall, we really enjoyed the experience. Our only negative was our waitress. She was pretty over us and ready for us to hit the road. She was nice but could tell she was towards the end of a shift. There were also random up charges on our accounts that we didn’t realize. Completely understandable but wish we would have had an ideas before see the charges for an extra tortilla. It is just a wonderful place serving delicious food and exceptional service. Everybody is super accommodating. portion sizes are great! Very attentive to drinks, chips & sides. Views are amazing. We love La Loma and always take guests there when they come to visit. The views are amazing. The place itself is beautifully decorated and the staff is very friendly and efficient. I also Love the house Sangria. It changes often, and I have enjoyed every one I had so far. Very nice place for lunch or dinner.
