My sister and I ordered ahead some breakfast to be picked up this morning on the way home from our walk. We get there and the food is not ready. We got banana chocolate chip pancakes and they tell her when we get there that they have no bananas. My sister asks to add an additional side of home fries when she gets there because there didn't appear to be a way to do that online. 20 minutes later they hand her the food and she has to remind them that she had added a side of home fries. $5 for this side of home fries (see pic), I was honestly a little insulted. At this point after waiting so long I figure the food would all be hot but everything had to be microwaved when we got home as well. Western omlette was good at least. Yup drive thru cannoli and all of their products at La Vita Dulce in Tewksbury. All of your favorite Italian specialty foods and pastries, and even an espresso bar to give you a pick-me-up if you need it. I didn't realize that La Vita Dolce - Tewksbury MA is owned by the same Parziale family from the North End, which explains why their Sicilian Pizza is so good. Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Regular Cannoli

It's the best Italian store around. The owners and employees are very friendly and extremely helpful. I had pre-ordered a birthday cake to be picked up on Sunday (1/7/24) Because it was going to snow that day. The owner called me on Saturday and asked if I wanted to pick up the cake today because of the snow. They went out of their way to make sure that I had the birthday cake for Sunday! We drove over 30 minutes to come here, particularly for the lobster tail pastry which was absolutely divine! But the deliciousness of the food was reciprocal to the blase service... two very nice young people who had no expediency or guidance in doing their job. We were served coffee but with no silverware for 20 minutes. It took another 10 to get my bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich (the two other diners in the place got their's on plates, mine was wrapped in tinfoil - plopped on our table), then another 20 to get our meat-lover's omelet (new cook dropped it - we get it). I'm coming home with a box full of goodies - pastries and pizza - and that's probably the best way to enjoy this place: take-out. I ordered an Italian rum cake for a birthday party it was delicious, fresh, and old school like a true north end bakery even with the cherries on top! Price was not bad compared to what I have paid in the past for imitation rum cake! Thank you for your excellent work!! Food: 5 Service: 5

This place is great. All the food I've gotten here is amazing. They have this awesome looking coffee bar with this great espresso machine but no one is ever working it. When I ask for an espresso they make it seem like it's some big ordeal and inconvenience that I asked. I wish the pastries had name cards. They have a ton of great looking things but I'd like to know what they are before I order. I have family with dietary restrictions and would like a better idea of what things are. This place is a 8/10 and only 2 small complaints away from a 10/10! Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Cannolis

I ordered a pizza and could not believe what I saw when I opened the box - I ordered the pizza lightly cooked. Not only was it NOT lightly cooked, but some slices were burned. Oh, and about the slices: I did not have an actual pizza, but instead there were just a bunch of random slices thrown into the box! Literally! Thrown! Some end slices were just thrown on top of middle slices. I couldn’t believe it. I’ve NEVER had that experience before. This was the first - and last - time I’m ordering from there.
The first time I reviewed this place, it was newly opened in Tewksbury and it was worth the drive at the time. I can no longer say that. It was very nicely decorated (which it still is) and last time felt very clean but I took into consideration how many people were in there. It was packed last time versus the last couple of times. Today I had the opportunity to sit at a table while I waited for the pizza and I noticed more than before. First of, the staff seems all unhappy. No one is smiling nor do they welcome you in or even ask what you need. You kind of have to go out for your way to make sure they know you need something. Worse of all, the older staff seemed to be bothered by us ordering things. Like, what else is the point of your business then? The pan cheese pizza seems to always be a hit which is why the food gets 4 stars. They have a deli, they cook other foods and also have pastries. The pastries look a-mazing and for the most part they are delicious. Traditional Italian stuff and then some one the b est I've ever had. They also sell pasta, all sorts of salami, cheese and freshly baked bread. Last couple of times I went the service had taken a dive. It's a bit disappointing because I want to keep going back for the food but the service is enough to not make me want to go back. This is the main reason I changed my review from 4 stars to 2. My first time coming here was recommended by a local. I was pleasantly surprised by the large selection of pastries, pies and cakes. Also calzones and lots of prepared Italian food such as eggplant rollotini, meatballs, stuffed peppers and more for take out or dine in. They have a good selection of panninis, salads and subs. I had a chicken, tomato, spinach and cheese pannini and asked them to hold the avocado as I don't like them. It was delicious. The dining area was very clean and comfortable. They also had a spacious outdoor dining area. Next time I'm in the area, I will definitely stop in to get something delicious to eat. Their coffee, hot and cold, is also excellent.
They just had their opening today so of course it was busy. Took about 20 minutes to wait in line to order and they didn't have anything warm to order yet, other than a small pepperoni calzone and some Mac and cheese bites. I tried a variety of things to see what their quality is like. I ordered the warm stuff I could order and some canollis, cheesecake and also bought some of their pizzelle that were prepackaged. The only thing that was worth it were the Mac and cheese bites. Those I would have again. The calzone was average and the desserts were horrible. The cheesecake was somehow the worst I've had. The strawberry topping was awful and the cream felt stale. Supermarket ready made cheesecake is better. Same for the canollis. Stale. But the most strange was the prepackaged pizzelle which felt like they were left out for months before being packaged. How do you have stale food on the first day you are open? Was prepared to leave a 3 star average review till I tried the cheesecake.
