We’ve had the lobster roll here previously and was very good. This particular visit it was not very good. That said, the fried clams were delicious as well as the clam chowder. Highly recommend both. Atmosphere was okay, we were near a large group that stopped for drinks and dessert and they were just too loud and obnoxious. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

The corn chowder was so good, i ran outside and screamed at God, wanting to know why he had hid this from me for 45 years. I mean legit awesome. Perfect corn, potatoes and onion mix. The biscuit with honey was the cherry on top. My wife had the Lobster roll. She loved it, but still thought Rockland Cafe in Rockland Maine may have a slight edge. If the boot business fails the Bean family, they could fall back on selling lobster rolls and corn chowder. Service was great as well. My son and I visited the LL Bean store and decided to have lunch at Linda Bean's. It was the off season and a slow day at the restaurant. The host sat us in a side room with a view of the main street. It was a great spot for people watching. Our waitress was very friendly and attended to our needs promptly. I ordered the broiled scallops with mashed potatoes and green beans. I regret that I did not take a picture because the presentation was fabulous. The scallops were delicious and the potatoes were perfection, the best I have ever had!! My son had the haddock and was equally impressed. The tater sauce was out of this world. I look forward to my next visit and would highly recommend you give it a try if you are in the area. You won't be disappointed!!
