We stopped at Lookout Roadhouse while we were out for a drive and had an amazing experience! It was a quaint restaurant with a beautiful view! And the food was absolutely delicious! We ordered the bbq pork sandwich and the filet mignon tips sandwich- both with potato salad! We loved all of it! Customer service was great, and food/ drinks were well priced. We will definitely be back!

Never actually ate here. I heard it was good though. I always just come for the view. It's not usually busy. Very serene. The view during the day or night is amazing.

I was most satisfied with the home made crusty pies. American pie - The best reason to eat at the Roadhouse. The location boasts the impressive views of the entire Lake Elsinore city while serving up humble American diner food.
Some of the garnishes on the plate were not fresh, losing half a star. The food was great otherwise. This diner closes before sunset! The outside deck seating is worth the loud sounds of the highway.

Filet Mignon Sandwich
Its a small hole in the wall restaurant, maybe like 6 tables inside and 4 outside. We wanted to eat on the patio but they were having issues with wasps, but inside it was still reallyyy nice and cottage-ish feeling :) I also believe they have a takeout window out front too. The food was pretty good, but the only downside is that there is no bathroom or sink, just two porta potty's outside, just off the highway. The view of the lake from the outside was really nice! There was one lady who was super friendly and seemed to be running the floor herself, but she was running that little restaurant like the NAVYYY!! She made time for us to explain parts of the menu and her berry pie that she bakes herself was ..... girl .... just get it and find out. Overall I'd go back with a bestie or on a mountain road trip:)
