Do not underestimate its cover. This place was amazing. First of its open 24/7. The service was excellent and prompt. You don't have to wait an hour to be served. I ordered the patacones with shredded beef- OMG it was so delicious. Seamered in the white sauce with cabbage- Yum yum!! My husband ordered the mixed empanadas and added their cilantro sauce. It was the perfect match. Pricing was reasonable, atmosphere had a good vibe of music. There are other places nearby that are open 24/7 but you would not get the same service that you get with Los Chamos Arepas. I highly recommended if you are in the area to check them out.

This hidden gem of a food stand, specializing in arepas, proved to be a delightful culinary discovery. The prices were fair, making it an accessible treat for anyone craving a taste of Venezuelan goodness.
The star of the show was undeniably the arepas – delicious and amazing in every way. The diverse fillings and the perfectly cooked corn pockets showcased the chef's skill and dedication to authentic flavors.
While the parking situation was a bit challenging, the savory satisfaction awaiting at the stand made it well worth the effort. The only minor hiccup was a wait time, exacerbated by a large group ahead of us. However, this seems to be an exception, as the usual pace is reportedly much quicker.
In conclusion, this food stand earns a solid 5 out of 5 stars. If you're in the mood for exceptional arepas and can spare a bit of patience, it's definitely worth checking out. Bonus points for the enticing mixed drinks that add a refreshing touch to the overall experience.

The shredded beef and cheese arepa was so delicious! The cilantro sauce and white sauce paired nicely with the arepa and service was good. The shrimp was flavorful but we preferred the beef arepa. The ground beef cachapa was sweet and soft. The orange juice and passion fruit juice were yummy as well. Restaurant seating is basically the Papa John’s parking lot, just be aware.

This place was interesting in terms of food and atmosphere. The food was delicious. We absolutely loved all of the food. It was cheesy and delicious and just to die for. The service for the food side was great! He was helpful in helping us decide what we wanted and how to get it. The food came piping hot and amazing. The bar side on the other hand was a little hit or miss. He was really just pushing mojitos and seemed to not want to make anything else. He also took off next door for a while, which had us waiting a good 10 minutes after eating to be able to pay when we were already ready to leave prior. The downside to this place is the seating. There are two or three tables and the trash cans near them have the Grackles everywhere. The music is also so loud you can barely here. If I returned, I would get the food to go just because it's not my cup of tea. But the food was very much worth stopping for!

Food was great! Big arepas, very filling, crispy on the outside, full of beef and cheese on the inside. If you are looking for some good venezuelan street food while you're in Puerto Rico, you should try it here, very authentic too.

I try to stop here every time I come to the island. The food is always great and the staff are so friendly and welcoming! The music is always playing, and the vibes are good. Luckily, I've always found parking when pulling straight in, but if you are within walking distance, I highly suggest walking.

Excellent arepas, came here two days in a row. I had the pavellón with avocado, super delicious. Prices for some reason do vary, not trying to say anything negative. One night the price was less than the other, not sure if there was something fishy there. I will say their food is tasty and outstanding. It’s a small local joint, so a quick dine and go. The girls who serviced us were very cool and had a lovely vibe. Highly recommend.
