They just had a new menu and there were some complications, but they were very honest and nice about it and came with a solution. Luckily the kids did not have to wait and even so there is a nice playhouse outside. The food looked delicious. I had spare ribs, which were very nice, succulent and sweet with a touch of... indian? A nice twist. The open kitchen looked very new and clean and organized, with happy cooks, that must be a good sign. Very nice restaurant. Menu selection wasn't huge but what they offered was good. Service could have been quicker but since it was the first time bei g able to go out without wearing a mask it was very busy.

Friendly staff and owner, good food for a good price. Order quickly and food arrived also quickly, fresh ingredients are used. Ambiance nice old style.

Nice location, great food, perfect place to sit outside and enjoy the day. Our lunches (a salad and a chicken sate dish with fries) were appealing and tasted great. The building is an old farm dating back to the 1600's, right in the center of the town, facing the brink (centrally located park). They have ample outdoor seating. I found the service slow, except when I asked for some ice in my drink. The young waiter came back quickly. He had to be quick, since the ice cubes were melting in his hand(!) Possibly not the proper way to bring someone ice, but the gesture was appreciated. All in all worth a (re-)visit.
