Not only excellent food but a unique approach to preparing and combining food and flavors. Service was pleasant and smooth. Three dishes are recommended as to make a full meal. It makes it not cheap but it was good quality for money (though I would not recommend the owner to increase the prices 😀). Medi stands in this case for Mediocre. I have been 4 times to Medi in different occasions and the forth time will definitely be my last. The dishes keep getting smaller and the quality has dropped considerably. 13 euros for a very small mango “ceviche” which finally was a fruit salad with onion is not rational. Also meat used for the the braised beef was half made of connextive tissue. The dish was quite small in the middle of the plate, 20 euros and half unedible. Also, being mediterranean i would not classify anything as really authentic. Only bright side: The aubergine dish was tasty. The dinner was great, new flavors and nice textures. The waiters were really friendly and welcoming. The restaurant itself was very cozy with dim lights that created nice atmosphere. The dishes were pricey looking at the portion that you get but it’s really worth it. What disappointed us a little bit in the end was that there was no dessert menu so we picked something out after the waiter gave us some options. It turned out that this little piece of vegan cheesecake that didn’t really remind of cheesecake has costed us 9,50€ per portion. I think it’s a bit overpriced for what you get. The rest was really worth it and I would definitely recommend if you like new flavors and feel like trying out something new.
