I've heard mixed reviews about this place, so I thought I'd try it for myself. To start, our Hostess, Sydney, was really sweet. She seated us quickly, and then gave a suggestion for a drink called a Mombo Taxi. She was absolutely correct, because that drink was 🔥! She also gave suggestions on popular dinner options. We got our food in a timely manner and our service was great! Thank you Sydney, for all your suggestions, and thank you Mi Cocina for a great night of drinks and dining! We reserved my husbands birthday dinner here, normally the service & food were great however this time we accidentally left a gift bag containing gloves & a $100 gift card. I called to make sure someone turned it in as only employees were cleaning off tables. When we picked up the gift bag the gift card was missing. The manager refused to investigate or compensate. VERY POOR way to handle and we wont be back. I have since submitted a claim for the $ we spend there. Before I can even mention that anyone stole the gift card the manager was already insisting that none of her employees took anything. okay? oh and your rice sucks too Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

They always treat us like family here. Great environment, great food, great service. Did a company Christmas party here, they always make it a great experience. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We are not from this area, we picked this place from Google maps and we were pleasantly surprised .There was a wait for larger parties but they sent us right away, my adult son and myself. Overall, the food was good. I'd rate the rice B+, flavorful but a little al dente, loved the beans, and my son said it was the best chicken taco he ever had and loved the chips. That's saying a lot as he is well traveled and lived in Southern California and Vegas his entire 40 years. The ambiance was pleasing, warm and comfortable, not garish and full of cheap knick knacks like a lot of Mexican restaurants. Great place for dinner or weekend breakfast. Staff is very friendly and food is excellent. Looking for good quality Mexican food, Mi Cocina is your go to place. Recent update: just recently went back to MI Cocina's. While there, the place got pretty packed. Service is still great but a little slow. Staffing has thinned out due to the pandemic. Food is still amazing and the staff is still very friendly. They treat you as if your a weekly regular. Highly recommend MI Cocina, you won't be disappointed. No change since last update. Masked are nolonger required. But it is common courtesy to where a mask and keep the 6ft distancing. Update: business is booming like before. Service is great. Food is outstanding. All is good on the Mi Cocina side of the world. 👍👍update 2: everything is back to normal on the western front in the world at Mi Cocina. Everything there is still top notch and still trying to make it a regular Sunday morning stop. Update 3: business is as usual here at MI Cocina. Everything is as nice as before and business is booming as usual. Great place for food, drinks, family gatherings. Give it a try. No changes here. Business as usual.
