I was in Coral Springs for work and found this awesome southern kitchen. I’m a huge fan of Cajun cuisine and always have a hard time finding restaurants that actually make TRUE gumbo. I’m so glad I found this place! The roux was dark and savory! The shrimp were nice and plump! The flavor was on point!! The portion size was great (I could NOT finish it)! The cornbread was a nice touch to add to the meal. I’ll definitely go back next time I’m in the area! Thank you for the delicious meal!! I hope to try your jambalaya and red beans and rice soon! January 12, 2024. Terrific Louisiana fire-grill restaurant. Mom and pop establishment. On Friday ONLY Jumbalaya is available ONLY on Fridays. The shrimp & Andouille sausage Gumbo is tasty & filling ... could be a meal (lunch) in itself. Re-opens after their vacation on or about January 15, 2024. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Food was delicious. We got the jambalaya which is only made on Fridays, it was amazing. The corn bread was tasty and the citric drink was sublime. We would definitely come back! Update: we went back a second and third time. The food was still great. I will warn someone that the chicken that they have on the menu is literally just a single piece of chicken breast. We really do like the food and think the owner still a great job It is a bit pricey to frequent often. If you are looking for down home comfort food this is the place. The food warms your soul and your palette all in one bite. The mac and cheese is creamy paradise and the meatloaf was hearty with flavor and the cornbread muffins were perfection. I will be returning to this hidden gem in Coral Springs.
