This restaurant may please you with tasty ribs, salmon and chicken salads. Try good ice cream, fruitcake and pecan pie. Don't miss the opportunity to order delicious draft beer. Guests don't highly appreciate tea at O'Charley's. The cosy atmosphere of this place makes customers feel relaxed and have a good time. The creative staff welcomes visitors all year round. Nice service is a strong point that plays a great role for the success of this spot. Prices are found democratic here. But this restaurant is not highly appreciated by Google users who assigned it a below average rating.

When we arrived, although there were many available tables, we were made to wait for about ten minutes before being seated. This was most likely due to their being understaffed for servers. Our server, Kara. was very friendly, but she served us stale and tepid coffee and no water. We asked her for fresh and hot coffee which was not served to us until after we had finished our meals. And, we asked for the charge to be removed. We were then served rolls and butter which were good. I ordered the chicken tenders with sides of a small salad and a cup of soup. I specifically asked for the soup and salad to be served first. But, the chicken "tenders" were brought out first. They were hard and dry, but still had good flavor. The salad was excellent as was the blue cheese dressing. The cup of soup appeared to have been cooking for way too long. It was okay, but not really enjoyable. My wife ordered the patty melt with fries. The fries were perfect, but the patty melt was served on dry Texas toast instead of on Rye Bread which is the norm. It took a while each time we needed service including for the check. Again, Kara was very nice and apologetic, so we still gave her a tip of 20% or so. The issues were with management and the kitchen. We will not be returning. Also, they do not serve breakfast or brunch. Our server was exceptionally nice and very helpful. I'm sorry I did not catch his name, but he had some gorgeous curls on his head. The place was clean and the prices affordable. My salmon Caesar salad with dressing on the side was delicious. I will definitely be going back there when I visit Charleston SC.

Most recently I had a quick lunch at the bar. Have been many times before for dinners, as well. Food is very good... great variety on the menu. Food is much better than your typical chain with names like "peachhornets" or "Serranos", but not fine dining either. Prices are reasonable, portions at more than fair, restaurant is well lit, drinks are well poured. Service is quick and friendly. Wish they still had their prime rib pasta with asparagus, and the chicken with the lemon and artichoke hearts... BRING THEM BACK!! This is one of my favorite restaurants! I am currently here right now, I gotta say this is a different one I have gone too and it has free internet! It has amazing servers! They are so sweet, although usually the chefs get the orders wrong, for example, (you ask for extra cream with a latte, you get a latte but they didn't add extra cream, they actually didn't even add cream at all) kind of wrong orders, it's really more of a type of order, and one more problem, (according to my mom) my mother went into the bathroom stall and I guess a child went under the stall and looked at her using the bathroom? Keep in mind there was 1 child that was old enough to know what he was doing and was looking at the stall gap, and the other one was the one looking under the stall he looked maybe 2-1 years old? But anyway best part of my experience was the fact it was crowded, no I don't mean 3-2 groups of tables, we actually had to wait a little for a seat! But when we sat we had it wait a little for our server but as soon as she came too our table she was happy and cool, (at a point she was tired and unhappy but still gave really good service!) Anyway there were about a lot of groups at tables, and here this. It's took her only 15-20 minutes to get our food! Now it seems like a long time but for a crowed restaurant and kinda struggling to get a table, thats impressive. It hurts me that time we came in, it was so dead. I don't know why. The food was nice and hot. Taste was amazing. $5 margaritas- omg , amazing. Staff was really friendly. If I'm able - I will be back! Thank you for really great service, staff, and best fish cooked than other places I have been at!! Loved the Santa Fe Tilapia! Good stuff! Waitress was really sweet! I read the reviews before going so I decided to try it since I’m the area tonight. First off I stood waiting to be seated and another waitress told the host someone is there. She got up from a booth in the bar area and seated me. Next I waited almost :10 minutes before someone waited on me. She took my drink order which was water. She brought the water back and was hoping for the bread they usually put on your table with the drink order…NO Bread. She then took my order which I got the southern tenders meal and ask for the house salad as soon as possible. Within minutes I get the entire order and salad all together and NO bread. My server sat my meal down and walked off and never came back…. I asked another waitress if she could bring me bread and extra brown gravy for the meal which she did. My server never came back to check on me, ask me how everything is or anything. She never said thank you etc…just put my bill on the table and walked away….Also I question how quickly that food was cooked since it’s suppose to be hand breaded chicken tenders and fried. Not precooked stuff. It took less than five minutes to bring my salad and main dish out. The food was just ok at best and actually a fresh salad but the service is so bad I will never visit again. I was thoroughly impressed with this restaurant. Have gone in the past and was not impressed. Ordered an appetizer and dinner special. The rolls were fresh from the oven and mouth watering goodness. The manager was walking around checking tables and the servers were very attentive.
