I llove his place, Throw a few back and you play pool or gamble on the video machines. The cast of locals are good people, smiles all around. All ages hangout here. I definitely recommend stopping in for beer. They serve various sandwiches if your hungry Price per person $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Just the BEST beef dip sammys I have EVERRRRR had. Service was spot on, broccoli bacon cheddar soup was killer!! Meal in itself gotta hit this place up Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Nice small town tavern with the best sandwiches around. Everyone is always happy and welcoming and will work you into playing pool if they already have some games going. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The bartender there when me and a friend went to have dinner, I can't recall her name, but she was spunky and peppy and had great suggestions and made ordering simple. The wait was a bit annoying. However, I could see she was the only one serving a bar full of people. First time there, and I definitely will go back.

Hopping place.... Full of locals on a Wednesday evening. Nice menu too. And peanut shells on the floor.

Had our dog put down and needed some time out of the house so we went for a drive and found ourselves in the town of Oakland. Stopped at the Oakland Tavern for a beer and stayed for taco Tuesday. Had a blast, people were friendly, tacos were amazing street tacos. If you ever find yourself in Oakland on a Tuesday stop in for Tacos & a beer. Say Hi to everyone.

Very good sandwiches and excellent coleslaw in this great little old bar. Pool tables and darts, loud music and beers. Great place to hangout. It was packed on a Saturday afternoon.

I enjoyed one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time here! I had the OT Grindr it was done to perfection definitely order it again! Play some very clean restrooms were very nice and probably the nicest Men's Room I've been into well decorated very clean. Would recommend coming to this place I would go back again.

Sandwiches and Salads ONLY, that being said damn good sandwiches!! Service was great, but avoid lunch rush or that's diminished. Feels like a cozy small town bar, enjoyed!
